It’s a wonderful and peaceful location with good local restaurants, bakery, supermarket, bus stop, rent a car and other services. The apartment is also very close from Garajau beach, with limpid waters and home of one of the most exciting diving spot in Europe.

* Closed parking place for guests wishing to hire a car - lift from the garage to the apartment.
* Sleeping:the apartment comprises 2 bedrooms; 1 en-suite double bed, 1 twin room and 1 double sofa bed in the living room. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use. Cot might be available upon request.
* General: the apartment has 2 bathrooms.  Balcony with 20 m2, large and fully equipped kitchen (cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee machine. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The apartment has also cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.)
The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable with more than 30 channels most of them in English.
* Eating & living: table for 6 in the dining room + table for 4 in the kitchen.

Garajau's Beach - nearby

Situated along the cliffs, with spectacular ocean views south towards the Desertas Islands, Garajau is only 10 minutes from Funchal to the west and from the airport to the east. On a bluff below Garajau you will find a towering statue of Christ with outstretched arms, modeled on the one at Rio de Janeiro - definitely worth a visit to watch the sun set against the backdrop of the Bay of Funchal.

A new cable car descends the steep cliff to the pebble beach, newly built changing rooms and restaurant below. The coastline conservation area at Garajau, one of Europe's first underwater nature reserves, provides a sanctuary for whales, dolphins and seals.
